We left after taking photos and cancelling the reservation. The apartment was so dirty and run-down that we couldn't stay, and "Mr." Olivier wouldn't refund us. He rented it out again straight away, which we could see on Airbnb. It felt like he was counting on guests who'd travelled a long way for a seaside holiday to argue and then stay anyway. He seems used to getting away with this and has no sense of decency or responsibility, which is a shame. We were paying 180 euros a day for a dirty apartment with broken appliances. The listing on Airbnb said there was a washing machine, but there wasn't one. "Mr." Olivier smiled and admitted the place was dirty, then said he didn't have time to clean because he rents out seven apartments. Apparently we were meant to sympathize with him 😏. He offered to collect our dirty laundry and wash it himself, even though that meant picking up women's underwear. We asked him to lower the rent because the apartment didn't match the description or basic hygiene standards. He refused.

We booked through Airbnb and are now out almost €1000. After waiting nearly two hours for the cleaning he'd offered, which kept getting postponed, we decided to leave. The welcome had been friendly, though hurried and late, with cake and information about the region. But when we started unpacking, we found dirt all over, dust bunnies under the bed and an unsafe electrical outlet. The listing mentioned a washing machine, but there wasn't one. Instead, the landlord offered to come into the apartment and collect our laundry to wash while we were out during the day. What about privacy?

The host was charming and always available, and gave us great recommendations when we were looking for quality restaurants with local specialties. The apartment was comfortable and spotless, with a magnificent view from its spot on the port. We spent three days in Design Apartment number VII, and it was stylish, just as promised. A fantastic holiday, a wonderful host and a beautiful apartment. We'll remember it and recommend it without hesitation.

The owner's kindness and all the thoughtful little touches made a great stay even better. We had a fantastic night in this superb apartment, right on Rosmeur harbor. It's a top-notch place, and we'll be back.

We slept wonderfully, the bedding was so comfortable. The accommodation was new and very clean, with lovely decor, and those personal touches were much appreciated. The owner gave us an excellent welcome and went out of his way to help us discover the region and its local specialties, including places you won't find in guidebooks. Great value for money. We had a fantastic stay!
