Valdys Thalasso & Spa Hotel - l’Escale marine

The bed was comfortable, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I found the stay very disappointing: the hotel looked nowhere near as nice as its photos and felt overpriced. The rooms smelled unpleasant, need updating, and had a lot of noise. Several lights didn't work. The bathroom also needs a proper update and deep clean; there was mold between the shower tiles and the towel hooks were loose. I wouldn't recommend it, it isn't worth the money.

Every little thing costs extra: parking, breakfast, and even pool access. There was no fridge, ice machine, or anything like that, and at Wyndham prices I expected at least what La Quinta offers. The whole experience felt awful and nickel-and-dime. If you hate businesses that aren't upfront about charges, avoid this place. Never again at any of their hotels or resorts. No, mercí.

The view was amazing, the staff very nice, and breakfast was really good. A great place to stay.

The breakfast selection was poor, with no savory options at all: no meat, cheese, or eggs. The rooms could use a refresh, and the lift needs fixing. It feels scary and unsafe because it doesn't reopen automatically when something touches it.
