The hosts were so lovely and open, and gave us helpful advice. Breakfast, served by the hostess, was exceptional, with homemade pastries, croissants, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit salad, and more. My partner and I were delighted with our one-night stay at Basses Fontaines. The house is superb, the garden was beautifully flowered, and our huge room had soothing vintage decor. We highly recommend it!

We've stayed at Les Basses Fontaines several times, in spring, summer, and autumn, for visits ranging from two days to two weeks. Madame Bouillard and her husband are attentive, engaging hosts who are very open to their guests' cultural backgrounds. We're not French, and felt very welcome. Breakfast is a special occasion, made even nicer by the hostess being there, and we always enjoy the delicious homemade pastries. Each room has its own main color and decor, mixing classic and original touches. One room is on the ground floor, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. Their beautiful stone house is furnished with impeccable taste and sits in peaceful, green surroundings.
