The little shop and beautiful church give the town a bit of character, and there’s plenty to do nearby even though not much is happening right there. We had a really peaceful stay with a lovely, friendly couple. Monique can manage in English much better than we can in French! Don’t miss breakfast with the homemade jams. Whether you’re after a quiet break or heading back from the south, it’s worth staying a couple of nights if you have time.

A cozy garden, generous rooms with an old French feel, and safe parking for the motorcycle made this feel like a little paradise. The host was wonderful and cooks fantastically, and the prices are hard to beat. I'll be back as soon as I can!

The village was peaceful and a pleasure to stay in, even if there isn't much to do in Doulaincourt-Sancourt. Chaumont is about a 25-minute drive away, with an aqueduct, a museum, and tourist events. Our hostess was warm and welcoming, and helped us along on our trip through France.

The room and bed were really clean, and Monique and her husband were so friendly. Very good service.
