The beach is only 1 km from the house, with a bar where you can get nice cocktails, and the area is great for trekking. We really enjoyed our stay at Vaintan B&B. The room was comfortable, the private bathroom was great, and breakfast was so lovely, very very good. It’s a lovely house with a big, nice garden. If you’re traveling by car and want somewhere pleasant near Le Mont Saint Michel, this is a great choice.

The bedrooms were immaculate and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was freshly made and served on the terrace, with a view over the bay, though not of the mont itself. Our hosts were a warm, welcoming Franco-Irish couple who also spoke Spanish and Italian. They gave us lots of information about local things to do, including swimming at the beach about 800m away and taking a guided trip across the bay of Mont St Michel. Highly recommended!

Don't go there. The service was very bad, and the hosts were horrible.
