Breakfast was a bargain at 5 euros, with coffee including instant decaf, tea, cereal, croissants, mini pain au raisans, Madeleines, biscottes, jam, butter, milk, yoghurts and orange and apple juice. No marmalade, sadly. The morning concierge was friendly, helpful and keen to assist, just like the excellent night concierge, who seemed unfazed by anything. The rooms are small, but immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and freshly washed bedding. We slept soundly. The spotless compact shower room had a toilet and handbasin, complimentary soap, pleasant shower gel, soft white towels and floor mat, toilet rolls and disposable toothbrush cups. We even had a view of the Bastille Day fireworks from the window. After reading earlier reviews, I was worried, but needn't have been. I'd give it 9 out of 10, with room size as the only drawback, and I'd stay again when driving past Dreux in either direction. Thank you Hotel Kyriad for a brilliant night's sleep!

Even at the low price, I wouldn't recommend this very basic hotel. The rooms and beds are small, the WC area is tiny, and it wasn't very clean. It's located on an industrial estate.

After three days of driving and sleeping in my car, with no chance to take a hot shower, I paid €45 hoping for a shower and a peaceful night's sleep. The shower water was really hot, but the room heat was set to 18°C when it was -8°C outside. The TV was useless without a remote. I paid and got absolutely nothing out of it. I'll let you judge those conditions; I have nothing more to say.

The rooms were awful: one smelled of stale tobacco, the other of cat urine, and the hallway was in pretty advanced disrepair. Reception staff stopped just short of being outright rude. From beginning to end, it was a bad experience. It looked to me like what a prison cell in a first-world country might look like. I absolutely can't recommend this place.

A typical budget hotel on an industrial estate, basic but clean. With only seven sets of guests, it felt safe. Still, it was disappointing not to have a kettle or coffee or tea in the room.
