We didn't try breakfast because we wanted to walk into town, so I can't comment on it. The staff were excellent and very friendly. They told us about road closures and sent over a map to help us find our way. We were upgraded to a very big, clean, neat room. It had a pull-down single bed, which would be ideal if you're travelling with a young child.

I left my phone in the room, and the staff were so kind about sending it back to me. They were lovely, always smiling, and gave excellent service. Breakfast starts around 4am, which you don't find at many hotels. I had a short stay at this Borel Hotel, and it looked clean, cozy, and really nice. Excellent service all around!

We stayed here on 29th June 2025. The hotel is right by the harbour, where there were tall ships when we visited, and parking around the hotel was free. There's a restaurant on the harbour just a 30 second walk away, with great food and amazing views. It was 35C during our visit, so the very quiet but effective air conditioning was welcome. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a pebble based walk-in shower big enough for a rugby team. The location and rooms were superb. I'd highly recommend it and would love to come back.

I was there on a business trip, with the hotel included in the package from the company providing the training course. The rooms were simple but clean, and the bathroom was modern. The TV was small and had no smart features. There was only a fan, no air conditioning. Breakfast was completely inadequate. Three stars, no more.

I had a car problem during my stay, and the staff went out of their way to help even though it had nothing to do with the hotel. They were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was really pleasant and in a great spot. Thank you.
