2.0 Hôtel Vanille

The place was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the manager was warm, welcoming, and quick to respond. Still, for the room rate we expected more. We had repeated water outages, and breakfast was just two stale croissants, three small pieces of bread, and melted butter, despite the booking saying “all you can eat.” The shower is right beside the toilet, so water gets everywhere. We also didn't get the “hotel and resort” description: there are only a few rooms, with no bar or restaurant.

The view of Dzaoudzi and Crab Boulevard is lovely, and the place looks magnificent at night. We slept really well, and breakfast was excellent. There’s a lot of potential here, with a beautiful setting, but some work is needed. Directions were lacking, communication about the water outage was poor, and the staff seemed very disengaged, sitting slumped with phones in hand right in front of us. We'll be back 😉.

The room was spotless and ready perfectly. Breakfast was generous and served when requested. This feels at least like a 4-star hotel. Kudos to the staff, everything was absolutely perfect.

The room was neat and uncluttered, with air conditioning and a mini-fridge. It cost €109 including breakfast. I rated the location three stars because the mosque next door has a call to prayer at 5:03 am that wakes you abruptly.
