Caroline and Francois made us feel welcome straight away, with a fire already burning and fruit, mirabelle jam, and juice waiting on the table. The cottage is well placed for driving to Boulogne sur Mer and Calais, and there's a farm within walking distance. They were both really friendly and helpful. A lovely stay.

We've stayed at this lovely B&B a few times and will definitely come back. It's quiet and peaceful, so we sleep well, and breakfast is nice too, with fresh bread and croissants, juice, yogurt, and tea or coffee. The owner greeted us warmly when we arrived.

The host was friendly, but getting around the apartment involves steps from the entrance to the kitchen and more steps up to the bedrooms. Because of that layout, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with mobility issues or for older travelers. It could work for young families, perhaps. After talking it over with my wife, I felt two stars was the fairer rating.

We found the owner accommodating and easy to communicate with, and the beds were quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was first rate, with plenty for two hungry Brits! It's a great spot close to calais while still feeling rural. We went for a morning run on the very small, quiet roads.

The room at Le Clos de Tournes was spacious and comfortable, with its own entrance and great facilities. We were there for three nights and got a truly warm welcome from our lovely hosts. The organic breakfast was a highlight, and the bedroom was warm and comfortable too.
