We went for lunch on Christmas Day and tried the special menu they happened to be offering. It was a set menu with chicken or fish for the main course. Everything tasted delicious and was good value. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for a worthwhile meal. Merry Christmas 🎄

The receptionist from Serbia was the reason I’m giving three stars. She was professional and polite, and when we checked out the next morning, she kindly offered us a complimentary coffee and croissant because breakfast had just ended. The restaurant staff seemed unhappy to see us, though there were still people eating, and they were quite unfriendly even though we only had coffee and croissants. We’d checked in late, at 11 p.m., and found a clogged sink, no hot water, and a freezing room. The noisy air conditioner didn’t help, and the bathroom heater wasn’t working, so we couldn’t even shower. For the price and location, this lack of maintenance is unacceptable. I don’t recommend staying here.

This is our new favorite place to stay when we visit Enguisheim or the Colmar area. The hotel is just outside the town’s rings, so it’s easier to get in and out by car, especially when roads close for events. Parking behind the hotel was convenient, and the rooms mix rustic charm with modern amenities. At Christmas, the lights throughout the hotel looked ethereal from our second-floor room. We haven’t tried the attached restaurant yet, but will next time. A great place to disconnect from your wired life and reconnect with what’s real and beautiful around you. I highly recommend it for Christmas markets, wine tastings, or a romantic trip.

We ordered the Menu Express for lunch at 1 and were finished at 3. Getting all three courses, salad, main, and dessert, took a while. The atmosphere was very nice, but bring some patience. The receptionist seems grumpy, so I wouldn’t talk to her.
