The grounds were immaculate, and our room was spotless and comfortable. AureFées was one of the highlights of our trip. David was so warm and welcoming, and made us a fantastic dinner spread with local charcuterie. Breakfast was delicious too, with eggs from his chickens and apple juice he made himself. It was only a short drive from Bayeax, and an easy day trip to Mont Saint-Michel. We’d happily stay here again if we return to Normandy. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

The gardens and pool were lovely, and the setting was peaceful. We had two spacious, beautifully decorated rooms for our three-night stay in this charming boutique B&B. Stephanie and David were brilliant hosts, always helpful, and breakfast was delicious. It made a great base for exploring the region. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

After a long campervan trip, we wanted a little luxury for two nights, and Aurefees delivered. Our room, Hortense, was bright, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with a huge bathroom. The gardens and pool were fabulous and clearly well cared for. David and Stephanie made us feel welcome and were attentive throughout. Breakfast was excellent, with local produce, including jams and homemade crepes. You can also request a charcuterie board for dinner, which I recommend.

David gave us plenty of family-friendly suggestions for places to visit, and his tips were spot on. The location was ideal for exploring the interesting WO ll sites around Normandy. We had a great time in this beautiful place with its lovely owners. The historic building has been completely renovated inside, with clean rooms, nice decor, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing, especially the pancakes, which were a favorite with the kids.

We spent two nights at Aurefees in mid September and had a wonderful time. It’s a restored old chateau, with comfortable rooms and a great spot for visiting attractions around the Bayeaux-Normandy area. The hosts were wonderful, especially David, and breakfast was good. We’d love to return someday.
