There was hardly anyone around, since the campsite closes in mid-September and renters were already beginning to leave. I was visiting friends with a lovely mobile home, and the place felt full of life: water, greenery, and sunshine everywhere. Right beside the Durance River, this peaceful spot was a delight, though the highway traffic just behind it could be heard. It still made for a relaxing stay. I recommend this “green hollow where a river sings, Clinging madly to the grasses with tatters Of silver; where the sun, from the proud mountain, Shines: it is a little valley foaming with rays.”* Arthur Raimbaut

The owner was very friendly, and you can order bread for the following day. There’s river access at this quiet, family-friendly campsite, with large shaded pitches. It’s well placed for the lake, mountain passes, and nature reserves. The nearby main road is audible, but it didn’t bother me.
The owner has no character at all, and the campsite is filthy. I can’t imagine renting a bungalow in this state. The rental sheets had holes and the towels were dirty. I strongly recommend avoiding a stay here. I can’t even give it one star.
A lovely, quiet place in a great location, run by wonderful people. I’d only give the rooms four stars because these are mobile homes and there’s no jacuzzi 😁
The studio had everything we needed and was offered at a very reasonable price. Both the managers and the regular campers gave us a great welcome. I’d be very happy to come back.
