We love peace and quiet, so this place was just right for us. The owner gave us a wonderful welcome, and breakfast in the huge, light-filled dining room was excellent. Their honey is divine. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with breathtaking 360-degree views across the whole mountain. Congratulations!

We stayed three nights in this superb, authentic place, and the view was something else. It’s quiet and peaceful, a great base for exploring this beautiful region. The spacious rooms and excellent breakfast were lovely too. The welcome was just how we like it at a bed and breakfast, warm but discreet. I hope to come back to Embrun, and if I do, I’ll definitely stay at Le Vieux Chalet again.

We especially loved the magnificent mountain and lake views from both the bedroom and dining room. The hosts were very kind and gave us great advice on places to visit, and the excellent breakfast was a big plus. The room was large, and the chalet’s setting was pleasant and peaceful, close to beautiful walking spots. We highly recommend it!

The garden is magnificent, and you can buy lovely honey made by the owners’ son. It’s such a cozy, typical place, but what really stands out is the unparalleled welcome. It made us want to stay much longer. Thank you 🤍
