The evening drinks and lovely meal lifted our spirits, and we slept well in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good too. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the chateau had a pleasant feel when we arrived. We’d hoped to spend our last night before heading back to the UK in an elegant old building, so it was a real letdown to find the “prestige” room in such need of attention. The toilet bowl was stained, the loo roll holder rusty, and the curtains didn’t close and had come off their hooks. Staff fixed the curtains after I mentioned them, but the bathroom couldn’t be improved. At 105€, the room didn’t feel worth the price, especially with breakfast costing over 12€ per person extra. It’s a shame, because a bit of investment could make this a superb place to stay. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism.

We wanted to see the chateau, and the hotel had tickets for sale at the desk, which saved us waiting in line. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with Hermes toiletries as a nice extra. The staff were so friendly and gave us real 5-star service. What an incredible hotel. It’s worth staying at for at least a night!

The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms a decent size. But the building feels old, with creaky floors, and there’s no elevator, so you have to climb several flights to reach any room. There’s no air conditioning either.

After a long day at work, the amazing bedroom was just what I needed. The place is lovely, the staff are lovely too, and the food is good, nicely presented, and reasonably priced.
