The setting is beautiful, and we had breakfast out on the deck with freshly made croissants, homemade yogurt from Vincent, and jams made with produce from their garden. Vincent and Veronica were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their home is well placed for exploring the Loire Valley and its chateaus, and the history of the old mill was fascinating. We also got to see where they make wine with friends. Our room was very large, the bed extremely comfortable, and there was a separate shared room with a full kitchen. Since we had busy days planned, they arranged wonderful sandwiches for our travels from the local bakery, made with freshly baked bread. They even left regional wine in our room. It was a wonderful stay.

This is an amazing place with amazing hosts. If we ever make it back to Le Val de Loir, we'll be looking for Le Moulin du Bourg.

What a gem! Staying here felt like having our own room in a castle. Vincent and his wife gave us such great service and made us feel like royalty. We love the good things in life, and this little castle is something you have to see to appreciate. We loved it, and you will too. 💏

The mill is beautifully restored, with spacious, tastefully furnished rooms and a bathroom stocked with everything we needed. Its peaceful countryside setting feels like a little paradise. Véronique and Vincent were charming and attentive without ever being intrusive. They even prepared a table d'hôtes for us on arrival, and breakfast was delicious. They also had lots of suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. Véronique is a tour guide, and we enjoyed hearing her extensive knowledge of the Loire Valley châteaux during our visits to Chambord and Chenonceau. We have enchanting memories of our stay, and are sincerely grateful for such a wonderful welcome.
