Best Western Plus La Fayette Hôtel et Spa à Epinal

Breakfast was excellent, and the spa was a lovely way to relax. The restaurant was closed, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It's a bit pricey, but I'd still recommend it.

The hotel is starting to lose some of its shine. Wallpaper was coming loose on our room wall, and a few things in the spa could use attention. Still, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very polite and professional, and they did their best to speak English. We also saw a lot of cleaning going on in the spa and other rooms. It's a nice, clean French hotel, with the restaurant serving a typically old-style French menu.

The spa was excellent, with a small pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. It was tidy and well lit. Access was one hour a day with a spa-option room, but capacity is limited, so you have to reserve a time at reception instead of arriving whenever you like. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with lots to choose from, from cereal to salmon and plant jams. It was worth the extra cost. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. We stayed one night and would definitely recommend the hotel. If you're without a car, bus line 4 is a four-minute walk away and goes toward the railway station.

Restaurants are close by, and parking is available. The room had everything I needed. Pool and spa hours are a little limited, though. Reception was welcoming, courteous, and efficient in the evening and again at checkout. Great staff overall. It's a four-star BW in a commercial area that is quite neat.
