I’m extremely unhappy with this rental. The value for money was disappointing. I’ve spent five years traveling around France, including Corsica and the overseas territories, and I’ve never rented a studio at such an exorbitant price. The website photos looked promising, but the reality felt like a scam. There wasn’t a bed, only a sofa bed, and the TV kept breaking. It wasn’t because of storms, whatever the owner claimed. The stairwell was dirty, and open, overflowing bins were left in the entrance. In the middle of summer, the smell was awful. The neighbors were noisy, and the neighborhood was already lively. The old shutters only closed halfway. For my five-week stay, the linens supplied at the start, one duvet cover, one bath towel, and one hand towel, were never changed. There was no washing machine either, though luckily I had my own laundry.
