HotelF1 Epinay sur Orge

I couldn't stay the night. The location felt scary and unsafe, especially as a woman travelling alone. Strange looking men were hanging around by my room and staring as I went to reception. The surroundings stank, the room and bedding were filthy, and there was no lift, so I had to haul my things up to the fourth floor. Staff were rude, and reception isn't open 24 hours. I left at 9, just three hours after checking in. It nearly ruined my holiday. I thought Booking.com vetted the hotels it advertises, but I guess I was wrong. I'll stick with trip.com for now.

The bathroom was like a public toilet in a subway, shared by everyone, and really unhygienic. I found a woman's used hygiene product with blood in the sink. The room was nothing like what the website had led us to expect. Don't trust the pictures. A truly awful stay from check-in onward, and I'm never coming back.

We arrived at 00:30 to rooms that felt as if someone had already slept in them. The radiator was roasting, and the bunk bed had a blockage. Every toilet and shower is shared and downstairs. The online listing didn't match what we got, and they hadn't given us all the information. For families looking for affordable accommodation, I'd book B&B hotels instead of wasting time with F1. It doesn't matter which one. I could go on, but it would waste my energy.

I've stayed at other F1 hotels and had good experiences elsewhere over the past seven years, including as a Platinum Accor Member. This branch was the first Accor booking I regretted. The room was very hot, but opening the window brought in a huge number of insects. The toilets were dirty, had no toilet rolls, and smelled so bad you noticed it as soon as you got to your room. If this had been my first F1 stay, I wouldn't have considered booking with them again. Accor should review what's happening here and fix these problems.
