ADONIS - Residence les Hauts de Honfleur

For five of us, the whole apartment came to just 83€ a night, and it had two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a huge bathroom and a balcony. Everything was warm when we arrived, and the pool is heated to 25°C. Honfleur is a cute little town, about an eight-minute drive away. It's a simple resort, which I personally liked. Just bring soap, as there wasn't any. I think you can ask for it, though.

The room we were given was dirty, with cigarette marks on the carpet, a smoky smell and spiders, even though we'd requested a non-smoking room. Staff said there was nowhere else for us after we complained. We had booked through Expedia and were told we wouldn't be charged, but they charged us anyway. We booked in August 2013. A terrible disappointment.

Nothing in the room worked as it should, including the TV, and there weren't any room facilities. Housekeeping never came during our stay, and communication with reception was completely lacking. They even charged us twice for breakfast. We left dissatisfied.

A eviter!! The staff were rude and unhelpful. They don't seem competent and just want your money!!! Better to try a B&B called Chambre d'hotes.
