We were three people staying in an apartment set up for six, and I got really sick with a 40-degree fever. I was sweating so much that I used the towels to keep the bed from getting soaked. When I asked for more, they said no unless I paid €6 per towel. If we'd said there were six of us, apparently we'd have been given six towels without a problem. I tried to be honest and considerate, and that's what I got in return. The apartment itself was clean and had nice furniture, and the staff were very kind. The place just sticks so strictly to its procedures that there didn't seem to be room for any human understanding. We had one small towel for the whole apartment and one large towel for each registered guest.

The villa could do with better cleaning and upkeep. It felt too basic, and some electrical work needs attention. The setting is lovely, though, with a great view and the beach an easy walk away.

We've come back for three years running and really like the houses, the breakfast, and how quiet it is here. There's plenty to do and see nearby, and it's a handy base for activities. The houses are beautiful and the view is the best part. There isn't any Wi-Fi, but it makes for a nice break. We'll definitely return.

We were lucky with the weather, so we spent most of our time outside on the terrace, which had a superb view. Getting to and from the beach was a tough climb, though the height makes that understandable. The villas look bright white from outside in the summer sun, but inside they seem neglected. Paint was peeling, the kitchen gear was in poor shape, and the bathroom fixtures were in such bad condition that removing the hose seemed like it could bring the whole setup down. We had only three towels for three people for four days, and extra ones cost more. The little garden was untended and the fences were down. Breakfast seemed to be made up of things from the day before, not fresh.

We expected more from the villa. The setting is peaceful and natural, close to the sea, and the location is very good. But the place felt neglected: the sofa cover was coming apart, there were stains on the bedroom walls, and the bathroom furniture was old and damaged. The hot water tap was shut off when we arrived, so we had to work out how to get warm water for a shower. It has a lot of potential that hasn't been realized, and for the price it felt overrated.
