It's been 15 years since our last visit to Camping La Vallee, and Stephanie is still just as friendly and helpful. She looks after this lovely campsite with real care. The toilet and shower blocks were spotless, and there are palms, cacti, and other interesting plants between the pitches. There's a good play area, and Stephanie knows the area well, including the beautiful, empty beaches. We won't leave it another 15 years before coming back!
A short walk takes you from this picturesque little valley to the beach. The campsite feels green and welcoming, with a lovely natural setting alongside good modern facilities and a great playground for kids.
The setting never gets boring, whatever the weather, with the beautiful sea within walking distance and a lovely mix of trees and butterflies. I really like the small scale and the care taken with the details, including the tasteful chalet furnishings. Stephane's hospitality is relaxed, and the atmosphere is easygoing. I've been three times now, and hope to return often. I don't know a better campsite in Bretagne.
The beach is within walking distance, and this is a lovely, peaceful place for kids too. It's a small, personal campsite, a valley I'd come back to. The showers and wash facilities were clean. We tried the spa and sauna and were blown away. Superb.
The tent pitches sit between hedges, and I'd prefer more open space. Still, it's a great, quiet campsite with clean, well-kept facilities. Two villages nearby have supermarkets and other things, and you can order bread and croissants the day before. The warden was friendly and helpful, and it's a good area for cycling.
