Chambres d'hôtes La Fontaine

Sylvie and her husband have a beautiful home about 1 km from the bridge in Espalion, with lovely rural views. The hill up from the center is quite steep, but Sylvie routinely offers to collect guests in her car. She went far beyond what we expected for our group of six. She let us wash and dry two loads of laundry without accepting payment, drove us to a nice restaurant in town and picked us up afterward, then served a breakfast made mostly from things she had cooked or preserved herself. She was proud of her cappuccino machine and made each of us two espresso coffees. One of us had a fever after earlier travel in the tropics, so Sylvie drove that friend to the medical center on the other side of town and waited while we requested a malaria test. The rooms and individual bathrooms were beautiful and tastefully done. Thank you, Sylvie.
