The price felt unreasonable for what we got. The outside of the building is beautiful, but the inside seemed like no effort had gone into it. We booked a cottage room for the jacuzzi, which had been used as a chicken house, and the room honestly felt overpriced. The interior was too plain and old compared with the listing. We couldn't even use the heaters, so they just put out blankets instead. There were insects in the room.

The staff were excellent, and there were lovely spots to sit with a quiet morning drink and watch the sunrise. It's a beautiful old chateau in a peaceful part of northern France. The room in our building felt dated, almost like a converted stable block. The mattresses were very firm, which made sleeping difficult, though the sunrise coffee helped. For the price, I really can't complain.

The garden and surroundings are lovely, and the place itself is beautiful. Some rooms were a bit dirty, though still comfortable. Be aware that the rooms have a modern style. The room with a spa has a bathtub with bubbles.

I've stayed here many times, including after a car gathering in Dieppe. The family who own and run this historic place always go above and beyond to make the stay fantastic.

You come here for the amazing castle and that French style, and for a view that makes time feel like it has stopped. I felt at home over the weekend, and they kindly brought me eggs when I asked that morning. The food is why I gave four stars, though it could be better. Thank you for having me. I'll certainly come back.
