The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Alizé

We paid 95€ for two, and room #210 looked like it had been renovated at some point. It was on the main road, beside the pedestrian shopping street, but I couldn't hear traffic noise. There was a desk with a mini fridge, a safe, an armoire, and three working lights on the bedside cabinet. The linen was clean and white. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, though check-in and check-out were friendly. I skipped breakfast, but the hotel spaces seemed well looked after. I managed to get free parking by the electric charging station, 200m away in front of Thermal Parking.

We had a wonderful lake view from our room, and despite the busy road out front, it was quiet and well insulated. The hotel is well placed, has a pleasant open lounge upstairs with sofas and a table, and accepts dogs. Breakfast was satisfactory, though both the quality and the selection could be better. Guest parking is paid and about 200 metres away, with a discount for hotel guests. Dropping off luggage near the entrance is difficult, since the area meant for temporary parking was constantly taken up by business vehicles.

The price was reasonable and the location excellent. Staff were friendly, and the room, a corner one, was very clean with nice lake views. The value could justify five stars, but breakfast was a little lacking, so I'd give it four.

The room was comfortable, and the location made it easy to reach food and nearby attractions. Most of all, the receptionists and hotel staff were the friendliest and most helpful I've experienced so far. Highly recommended!
