La Belle Vienne

We loved our time here and hope to come back someday. It felt like a home from home, with a spotless B&B, a lovely breakfast, and extra facilities for making tea and coffee. The host was excellent and attentive.

The bedroom was stunning and much better than we expected for the price, and breakfast was included despite the inexpensive rate. We slept beautifully, though the church bell woke us. This is a peaceful, splendid townhouse with a kind, warm, very professional host. Sedate grandeur, exquisite throughout. Highly recommended.

The room had loads of space, lovely French furniture and great views over the village. Breakfast was plentiful and top quality, and our host was brilliant, helping us with everything. We booked for two nights in August, then extended because we were having such a fantastic time. We’re booking again for the end of September. Brian & Jan Poole Dorset

The relaxing atmosphere created by my English hosts was what really made it for me. I could come and go as I pleased, and the beautiful, wide Vienne river is just a minute away. The rooms are comfortable, newly decorated and stylish, with bright, airy hallways and a lovely breakfast room. There’s also a guest anteroom with a fridge and water for everyone. I booked one night at La Belle Vienne, then added another, and I’m looking forward to returning with my wife. Highly recommended.
