Les Lauriers

Mark’s knowledge of the area helped us find walks and routes away from the usual tracks, and we can’t wait to return. We had a great stay in a large, clean room with a nice bathroom and secure private parking. Shops and bars were an easy walk away. Breakfast was lovely, and Tom’s daily specials never disappointed.

Mark and Tom have thought of so many details, from in-room coffee machines, pods and speciality teas to homemade jam at breakfast. The daily special was wonderful, and they even provided alternative milk and gluten-free breakfasts for me. Our beds were large and comfortable, the B&B was beautifully decorated and spotless, and the guest lounge and garden were lovely to use. The hosts were great and made us feel welcome. It’s a superb base for exploring the area, and Eymet square has a good choice of restaurants. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We’ll definitely come back. The hosts were so accommodating, the stay was lovely and comfortable, and breakfast was fabulous, truly first class. We could park securely and walk into town in five minutes.

After a hectic wedding, we spent four nights at Le Portanel, and everything was superb. The setting made it easy to walk into Eymet each day, and it was lovely to relax by the pool. The breakfasts were fabulous, and Tom &Mark’s hospitality was exceptional. I’d highly recommend staying here.
