Les Oliviers

The breakfast was a 10/10, and the pool was fantastic. Our room was super clean and the bed really comfortable. Hats off to Angelo and Elaine for running this little hotel so well. Long may it continue.

We had two rooms next to each other and appreciated the free, dedicated parking. Fayence has loads of restaurants, and we used the hotel as a base for drives to Gorge Du Verdon and Monaco, both about an hour away. We also spent time relaxing by the pool, which the kids loved. It's a small, spotless place, with genuinely lovely people and the kind of hospitality you hope for. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and the host will make whatever coffee you like, a nice way to ease into the day.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt and fresh bread. We stayed for a week and would happily come back. Helene and Angelo were lovely and attentive without ever being intrusive. For a three-star hotel, it does exactly what you need, and the whole place was impressively clean, right down to the pool area. The staff's attention to detail showed. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, and Feyance is a typical little village with good restaurants and bars. Having parking at the hotel made things easier.

What made our stay at Les Oliviers was the owners. Angelo and his wife Ellen went out of their way to make everything easy and pleasant, and the down-to-earth service was some of the best we've had. We came here after leaving a more exclusive nearby hotel: its restaurant had no space, there was no WiFi in the room, and the room was much smaller than the advertised 22 m2. At Les Oliviers, the room, pool, bathroom, air conditioning and breakfast were all fine. The hotel is in the lovely village of Fayence. Ten out of ten, well earned.
