The staff were friendly, and the receptionist deserves special thanks for letting me keep my motorcycle in a secure garage at the back, inside the enclosed courtyard. That made up for my worry about having no off-road parking on a main road, and earned the hotel the extra two stars in my rating. I stayed one night while passing through to visit the WW2 sites. The room was badly worn. Its carpet was covered in stains, bad enough that I wouldn't walk on it without socks. The shower was appalling: no curtain and a shower head that wasn't fixed to the wall, so water went everywhere. The bar closed very early, at 8 pm on my October 2018 visit, and not much else was open.

Parking is limited, though it was OK for my motorcycle outside. The setting is handy, beside a historic church and close to the markets, shops, waterfront, and the D925 coast road to the east. The building itself is charmingly old, while the inside is clean and modern.

I really recommend staying here when visiting Fecamp. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Reception staff speak a little English, but communicating was no problem.
