The views are spectacular, with beautiful countryside, open spaces for trekking, and WW2 history all around. The place itself is an ancient chapel and abbey converted into a three-star hotel.

It’s one of the cheapest places to stay in the center of Fecamp, though I found it neither very clean nor especially cozy. The restaurant is very French, so the portions are tiny, but the food they do serve is more than adequate in quality.

We had a four-course dinner for 33€, and the wine was 20€ a bottle. The traditional French cooking was great for the price. Recommended!

A shabby room, and nothing has changed since 1960.
