La Maison De Josepha

We had a great night's sleep in two charming, comfortable rooms, one for us and one for our three children. Both had original furnishings and their own bathrooms. In the morning, the very kind owner served an excellent breakfast. A lovely base for wine, country walks, medieval sites, and even the sea, just a few kilometers away.

The owner was so sweet and clearly puts a lot of heart into this charming little guesthouse. My room had an oriental theme with lots of cushions, and the playful decor was lovely. Everything was clean, though a few bits of paint are peeling, and from the outside the place is very unassuming. I mentioned that the French breakfast was meager, so the owner brought out his best cheeses, and they were amazing. There’s a lovely little terrace, plus free parking, which is easier to find at the back. It isn’t wheelchair accessible. I’ll definitely stop by again on my way back.

We slept really well in a very nice room and would gladly come back. The welcome was warm and very friendly, and the gentleman spoke with real enthusiasm about his region.

Breakfast on the pretty shaded terrace included homemade fruit salad, cake, and jams. The host was very friendly and happy to share local tips. The house has beautiful, original decor, and the room, bathroom, and linens were all spotless. Highly recommended!
