I was walking the Via Podiensis and stayed here for one night, May 4-5, 2025. The host was very kind and made me feel welcome, which a pilgrim really appreciates. I barely spoke French and she barely spoke English, but she understood me and we managed to communicate. Full five stars!

It’s handy for both the town centre and the station. The house is charming and full of character, with a beautiful garden where you can sit outside, plus a small pool open May to September. Mme Cournede is a really nice hostess, and the place was clean and comfortable. I’d suggest one of the two larger rooms. Having a kettle in the room was a bonus. I agree yogurt at breakfast would be nice, though I enjoyed sharing breakfast and chatting with the other guests.

The Chemin du Puy hiking route and town centre are both within walking distance. We had a spacious suite that sleeps 5 adults, with a kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine. Getting to the swimming pool was easy too.

A kind gentleman runs this lovely, homely guest house. It’s close to the train station and just across the river from town.

The interior and garden are both very nice, and the location is good, not too far from the centre and on the way. We spent one night here and got a warm welcome. Breakfast was good too.
