The place has a bit of magic to it, and the location is perfect. The team is doing great work on the renovation, so it should only get better. For things to do, check out Figeac, la vallèe du Célé and réserve naturelle du Cause et Quercy. They’re all within walking distance of the Chateau...

We celebrated our wedding here after renting the chateau for the weekend, and we were very happy with everything. The exterior was fantastic, and the rooms, especially the suites, were amazing. We danced in the "discothèque" until early morning, with an unbelievable atmosphere, especially for guests who spent their youth there. Jean was always responsive and helped with every request. I highly recommend it. Merci, Jean!

We stayed in gite Ginkgo, part of the grounds of the chateau Saint Dau, and loved the views. The inside is very modern and has all amenities, the pool is great, and the people running the place are lovely. There’s another gite and 5 suites in the main castle. Guests in the other gite spotted deer in the morning, and most of the castle grounds are forest. Nearby Figeac is beautiful, with lovely restaurants and plenty of outdoor seating. We’ll be back.

Jean was a fantastic host, incredibly kind and welcoming, when we held our wedding reception at Château de Saint Dau. The property is beautiful, and the location is perfect. We can’t wait to return.

It’s a great base for exploring the region, with a lovely view over the Celé River valley. Highly recommended! If you’re nice, Tony might invite you into the chateau for dinner beside a roaring fire.
