Tilley Lounge Cocoon

A creative, clean space and a great host. Highly recommend.

We spent 14 days in the ZEN cocoon and found the quiet we badly needed. We were wonderfully lazy, and felt so spoiled by Harry and Miranda, the perfect couple for looking after their guests. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Miranda’s breakfasts were delicious, and Fitou has such tasty wines. It was an ideal, relaxing place for our honeymoon. Thank you, dear Miranda & Harry.

A car is useful for exploring the surrounding area, and Miranda also offers homemade breakfasts in season for an extra fee. During our excellent week-long stay at Miranda and her husband's, she was responsive and available for any questions or requests. She welcomed us warmly, explained local things to do, and showed us around the accommodation, including the air conditioning, TV, dishes and other amenities. The zen retreat was superbly decorated and maintained, with good amenities and bathroom, comfortable bedding and a very clean interior. We enjoyed cooling off in the shallow private pool and relaxing on the private terrace with sea and pond views. There’s a summer kitchen with a griddle and electric hobs, plus a small ground-floor fridge with a freezer compartment. I highly recommend it. Thanks again for the warm welcome and hospitality!

The elevated terrace is sheltered and a lovely place to unwind. The cottage is beautiful and has every comfort, so it quickly feels like a second home. Set amid beautiful nature, it’s an oasis of peace. Harry is a perfect host who welcomes you with a radiant smile. It’s an ideal place to unplug and reconnect with yourself, with plenty of lovely places to visit nearby if you want to get out and about.
