The peaceful setting and beautiful scenery made the stay special, and breakfast each morning was the best. Jean-Marc and Diane were so caring, with great communication and recommendations for restaurants, sights, and activities. We had an unforgettable holiday and would highly recommend booking.

We loved breakfast overlooking the river and spent plenty of time cooling off in the pool areas. Nine of us also had a great meal at the village restaurant and the evening before the wedding at Au Four de La Rive nearby. Jean Marc and Diane were wonderfully hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us. Everything was just right for our stay while attending a nearby wedding. We’re already thinking about coming back in September.

Our five days flew by, mostly because Jean Marc and Diane made us feel so welcome. They were patient as the wedding we were attending had its dates changed three times over 18 months because of covid. When we arrived at 7:30pm, JM had wine and nibbles ready on the terrace, where we watched the moon rise over the river. He also sent us off on pretty routes in all directions. Breakfasts were relaxed, with lovely local goodies and coffee. The bedroom was well appointed, with a great shower, spectacular river views, and quirky furniture.

The river and countryside views were beautiful, and the interiors have real charm. The renovation of this architectural legacy is splendid, and the hosts were fantastic. I can’t wait to stay again!
