The owner gave us such a warm welcome. We had a perfect, pleasant stay in this beautiful, historic house.

The house has exposed stone and two floors, but the best surprise was the little garden on the first floor where the bedrooms are. There's a covered roof for eating upstairs and a barbecue, and it was always so quiet. Melanie's place is in one of Burgundy's 10 most beautiful villages, with a wonderful boulangerie right next door and plenty more to discover. I won't give everything away. As you walk around, keep an eye out for the shop where they filmed "CHOCOLAT". There's no sign advertising it, and that's probably right, since the village is known for something else... find it ❤️

The cottage is nicely located, but the stairs up to the upper floor are dangerous. We fell twice during our stay. And above all, don't leave anything behind, the owner won't bother sending it back!

The setting of the gîte is magnificent, and the people were so welcoming. We spent a few days there on holiday and have nothing but good things to say. I'd recommend it 100%!
