Le Clos en Provence

Helder, thanks for being such a kind and welcoming host. We'll see you again! We spent twelve days in the studio, which was well equipped and had a nice terrace with a lovely view. The pool was excellent, with a comfortable temperature and beautiful scenery. We also opted for breakfast and were glad we did. Everything was fresh, with a different surprise each day. With such a beautiful area around it, this was a perfect place for our holiday.

Helder was kind, friendly, and discreet, and Coco added a thoughtful touch as we were leaving. The room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, and we loved the peace and the wonderful view of the Var mountains. The location worked really well for visiting the characterful villages of the Upper Var. Breakfast was generous and served in the traditional French style. We had a lovely weekend away and highly recommend this host.

Helder and Coco clearly care about making guests comfortable. The welcome was exceptional, and Helder was attentive and full of useful advice. He recommended a good restaurant, and when I planned to walk to the village in the evening, he lent me a flashlight for the way back. I appreciated that. On arrival there was chilled bottled water, an air-conditioned room, a built-in window mosquito net, and a plug-in repellent. There were also things for making a quick coffee, plus drinks you could buy anytime and note down for payment at checkout. The room smelled fresh, and cleanliness was spotless, including the sheets and bedding. There was a luggage rack, a terrace with a table and two chairs, and pool towels were provided. It's very quiet at night. The pool and sun loungers were lovely, with parasols and low tables, and a view of olive trees and greenery. There's also a shower by the pool for rinsing off. Plenty of places to relax, including different breakfast spots. Helder was caring and flexible about our needs. Breakfast was fantastic, with generous servings, delicious homemade jams, and homemade pastries from Coco. There's a pétanque court and equipment to use. I've NEVER had such a warm welcome or such good service, and I left with a small souvenir and a thoughtful gesture. Thank you, I'll definitely be back!
