Nearby Chatillon-sur-indre, about 8 km away, has two very good supermarkets, Intermarche super and E.Leclerc, along with local shops and places to eat. Flere-le-riviere is closer, around 2 km away, with a bakery and bar. The campsite itself is quiet and rustic, with clean facilities and hot, powerful showers. The owners come by when you arrive to answer questions and sort out payment, which was 15€ per night. They were also quick to reply to emails.

For just 10 € a night, you get a peaceful little campsite in a quaint spot, with a friendly boss and showers good enough to win the Best Camping Shower Award 2023. Highly recommended.

Back for our third visit, and we still love the lovely people and amazing rural setting. It's so peaceful. There are only five hook ups, but the showers are to die for. The photos really don't do the place justice.

A calm, bucolic spot to recharge, tucked away in the countryside on the wooded edge of a magnificent pond. We came across this charming and unusual campsite on our way home at the end of our holiday. There are only a few pitches, but it has all the necessary sanitary facilities. The owners were exceptionally kind.

The lakeside pitches are lovely, and the campsite is very quiet. The owners are available, and tourist attractions are close by. The downside was the sanitary block, which lacked comfort and cleanliness. There were no hooks in the toilet cubicle, the bins were overflowing with cups and bags and hadn't been emptied, and the mirrors weren't clean. There was no bin by the dishwashing sinks or light above them either. The Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent.
