The RAC took a while to sort out our vehicle and hire car problems, so the hotel let us check out late without charging us. The staff were also really helpful to our friend, who had mobility issues. Our recovery driver had recommended the place after the RAC couldn't find us any accommodation. Everyone was welcoming and helpful during our stay. Great service, thank you all, and sorry we didn't get to say goodbye in person 😁👍

The restaurant was a real draw, with fresh local ingredients and seasonal dishes. We had a lovely two-night stay at this charming hotel, and Angelique & Thomas were warm and helpful hosts. Thanks so much for looking after us. We'll definitely come back.

The bed was clean and comfortable, but there was little else I can recommend. The place felt neglected, from the smelly hallway to the mouldy sealant around the bathtub. A bedside shelf had been ripped off and never replaced, and there was no bath mat. The hotel was tatty and run down. Staff were friendly enough when we arrived, but when we couldn't connect to the wifi, they barely did more than shrug. If it hadn't been late on a Sunday, we'd have left straight away to find somewhere else. Truly awful.

Lunch was good value, and the staff and owner were especially welcoming. It's a lovely old-fashioned hotel restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely dinner with the family in a pleasant setting. The food was good French fare, the price was good for what we got, and the service was friendly.
