Domaine de Garat

I slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the Bordelaise bedroom was spacious with pretty decor. Florence, thanks for the warm welcome. Domaine of Garat is a lovely place to explore, and I felt right at home there.

We stayed two nights in the "Bordeaux" room this weekend, and the park was a real highlight. Its magnificent centuries-old trees made the setting feel so peaceful. The decor is splendid and gives the region's heritage a lovely place in the house. Having a jacuzzi at nightfall was unforgettable. Florence, the hostess, was incredibly attentive and full of positive energy. It was an unforgettable stay, and we'll definitely come back. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

The bedding was fantastic, and the room was spotless. We spent three wonderful days here, with beautiful grounds that were perfect for resting and relaxing. We got a particularly warm, pleasant welcome as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was very good too, with quality products that made for a great start to the day. Everything came together for a lovely stay. We'd happily return if we get the chance, and highly recommend it.

The bus stop is about 100 meters away, with buses taking around 23 minutes to the Bordeaux city center area or 15 minutes to Arkea Arena. The ring road nearby also makes it easy to reach different sights. We had a very good stay, whatever the reason for a visit. Florence and Maxym welcomed us warmly, and Maxym is a very likeable young man. The wooded property opens up as soon as you come through the gate. I liked how tastefully the building has been renovated, keeping its old character while adding a modern touch. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a large modern bathroom, separate toilet, quality bedding, and all the amenities. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was served in a room with plenty of character that suited the place, and the service was excellent. The little pastry in the morning was a nice touch.
