Our week-long stay was a complete disappointment. We paid over €1000 for the week of August 15th, but the value was shamefully poor. When we arrived, the cramped accommodation hadn't been cleaned properly. There were dust bunnies and beer bottle caps under the furniture; the toilet was yellow with dried urine, the floor sticky, and the fridge had food stains. We had to clean everything ourselves so the children could at least use the toilet. The windows were broken and screwed shut, cigarette burns marked the linoleum, and the shower grout was moldy. The grounds were poorly kept, and the pool didn't seem suitable for children: it was over 1.6 meters deep with no slope. Uneven paving and chipped, sharp pieces also made it dangerous. Reception was closed from 12pm to 5pm. There were no snacks, bar or café, or restaurant. The three stars date back to 2019. Avoid at all costs. This isn't our first experience with VVF.

We paid 126 euros for two adults and a dog, and the hotel stay was poor value. For the same price I've stayed in nicer hotels in Paris. The room was in an extension of a bungalow that was already rented, opening directly onto its terrace. Getting to our room meant disturbing the residents, even during dinner or breakfast. The door was especially hard to open because the lock was almost stuck to the frame. There were several small problems that might not have bothered me in a nature holiday village, but at this price they added up. No fridge in the room, no shower curtain, nowhere to hang or put a towel, and uncomfortable bedding.

Our first VVF stay was a family trip, and we were delighted with it. The accommodation isn't new, but it's well looked after. The park and pool were really pleasant, and we fell for the beautiful region, with activities for all kinds of tastes. The animation team was friendly and energetic, and the kids loved the teen club. The evenings were sociable and guaranteed a good atmosphere, with aligot, barbecue and pizza nights. We recommend it!
