Brit Hotel Confort CAMBRAI

Breakfast had a decent range, and we slept well with the window open. There was little noise from outside. We booked two rooms so our 10-year-old could have one to himself, which he was pleased about. There's no air conditioning, but the open window was enough for us. The hotel is conveniently close to the motorway, and the gentleman who checked us in was pleasant and helpful.

The room and bathroom had a noticeable damp smell, and we found at least five large spiders inside. That's why I'm taking off a star. The hotel otherwise seemed clean. The shower was spacious and comfortable, and there was a hairdryer. WiFi worked well on both my phone and laptop. Staff were friendly and caring, spoke English, and parking was good. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of sweet and savory food and drinks, and everything tasted great.

There were a few live spiders on the bedroom ceiling, which was the one thing I didn't like. Otherwise, the internet was great, the bed had two pillows, and parking was convenient near the hotel. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough choice, including sausages, cheese, yogurt, pastries, pancakes, jams, and fruit.

We found it fine for a single night while breaking up a long drive. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and cleanliness was okay. The hotel is a little dated; the rooms have had some updating, but the bathrooms still look old.
