Demeure Les Aiglons

After a long day hiking, our private hour in the spa was the perfect finish. The Turkish bath and sauna were great, the jacuzzi was overwhelming, and the pool was refreshing. Our hostess was super nice and friendly. The room was great, with very comfortable beds and a clean, nice bathroom. Breakfast was far more than we expected: homemade jams and yogurt, different honeys, muesli, cheese, ham, baguette, bread, croissants, fresh juice and coffee, plus a huge tea selection. We had an amazing stay, and if we come back to Fontainebleu, we'd choose this place again for sure.

During my two-week course at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, I was lucky to find this gem after the INSEAD hotel, the Ermitage, was fully booked. I felt warmly welcomed as soon as I arrived. The room was amazing and had a kitchenette, and access to the pool and spa was a wonderful extra. Breakfast each morning came with delightful conversations and made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you for such an exceptional stay!

The 'Josephine' was a lovely room, beautifully decorated with a nice tiled floor and three large windows looking onto the garden and pool. It was extremely spacious, with a useful kitchen area for a cosy evening in when you fancy a break from eating out. There's a bathroom and a separate shower room behind the bed. It's also ideally located near the centre of Fontainebleau and the chateau.

The spa was amazing. It was so nice to swim in the pool after using the sauna. The owners were really friendly, and the location is great. It was a pleasure staying in this house. Thanks for your hospitality!
