Camping Caravaneige du Col

The Tuesday and Friday Savoyard meals were delicious, the pizzas were available all week, and the bar stayed open every evening. Our kids made good use of the games room while we recovered from skiing. Sandra and Nico were great hosts and ready to help whenever something came up. The campsite has a wonderful view and is in a handy spot, about five minutes from a resort shuttle stop. This was our first ski trip in a mobile home and we were very happy with it. We’ve already booked for next year!

Pizzas were available to order every day, along with bread and pastries, and there was a welcome drink on Sunday evening. We also enjoyed the Tuesday and Friday evening events. The restrooms stayed clean and warm throughout, and the owners gave us a lovely welcome. The shuttle stops 100 metres away and comes every 15 minutes. Thanks again to Sandra and Nicolas for all their hard work. We had a great week.

The mountain view was magnificent, and Nico and Sandra were always helpful. For our first time camping in a caravan park, we had a wonderful time at this family-run site. They even helped us fit our snow chains so we could set off safely at the end of the week, with 40 cm of snow forecast. During our week in January 24th, we found the owners’ events had a great atmosphere and generous servings. We tried the Savoyard food and would happily recommend signing up for Tuesday or Friday. The welcome was exceptional, and the facilities were excellent: heated restrooms, a small heated recreation room open around the clock, and a little bar that was open continuously. We’re already looking forward to Tuesday’s Savoyard dinner.
