The only downside for me was that the beds and pillows felt quite hard. Otherwise, the spa was very nice. At 5 pm it was a little busy, as you’d expect during ski season, but it didn’t bother us and we could still use all the facilities. It’s a 200-metre walk to a blue run that leads to the main square and all the lifts. The apartments were very nice, with modern kitchens and bathrooms. The main bedroom even had its own bathroom.

The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, and the technician fixed problems quickly. After skiing, the pool and sauna were great for relaxing. We stayed as four in a modern three-room apartment, with a well-equipped kitchen where everything worked perfectly. The beds were clean and comfortable, though maybe a little hard, and the bathrooms were warm with big, soft towels. Each apartment has its own ski locker, and getting into the building was easy. The garage parking was ideal in the winter conditions we had. Just remember that the first 200 metres out from L’Alpaga are uphill, so make sure you have suitable snow chains. We had a great winter sports holiday and hope to return next winter.

The lights in the living room were a bit bright, so candles or something similar would make it cosier. The beds felt a little hard and the pillows were big, so comfort probably depends on what you like. We stayed six in an eight-person apartment, which worked perfectly since otherwise someone would have had to sleep on the couch. The apartments are brand new and suit groups that aren’t too large. There’s a sauna, pool, steam bath and bubble bath. To reach the ski lifts, you walk about 10 minutes downhill or 10 minutes uphill. On arrival, we had to check the inventory against a list. We expected to receive the missing items after handing the list in, but that didn’t happen.

The apartment was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The layout could be better. I couldn’t find clear fire exit routes, and when reception is closed at lunchtime, the way out is through the garage. Getting to the wellness room when it’s closed also means going through the garage.
