The restaurant is closing in a few months, so go try the unique, delicious food while you still can.

The bill came as an unpleasant surprise later, with an error on top of an already hefty amount. Before that, the stay had been a letdown on value for money: the room was very basic, the bedding worn, and the blanket inadequate. I was cold, paying over €100 a night, and just wanted to get back to my own bed. That's not what you want from a bed and breakfast. Breakfast also felt very expensive for what was offered, with very average croissants or pain au chocolat.

Everyone was so kind, and the charming grounds made the stay even better. We had a wonderful 3-night half-board stay, with new menus every day that were absolutely delicious. The room and bathroom were spacious, too. We highly recommend this as a base for exploring the area.

The room was a little small but functional, and I liked the hotel's layout: ground-floor rooms with private entrances arranged around a pool with sun loungers. We stayed just one night. The restaurant was closed that evening, but we found a fantastic restaurant in town instead. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. Breakfast had fresh fruit juices, homemade yogurt, pastries, bread, jams, and more. A great place to stay.
