La Maison de la Cigale

We stayed in the “Flower of Passion” room (Fleur de Passion), which was romantic, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Caroline and Sébastien made us feel at home, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had, with excellent sweet and savory choices. They also gave us plenty of information about the area. Provence Verte is lovely, with lots to see and do; the Mediterranean is close by, and my favorite outings were the gorges du Verdon and the turquoise waters of the lake of Sainte-Croix. There is a large pool, though at the end of October it was too cold to swim. We had a great stay at La Maison de la Cigale and hope to return. Un grand merci Caroline et Sébastien pour un séjour inoubliable!

We came away with lovely memories and already want to return. Caroline, Sébastien, and their children were warm and generous, always there when we needed something but careful to respect our privacy. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with thoughtful decor and everything kept spotless. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and refined. We spent hours together in the huge pool, and the jacuzzi and pool house made it easy to unwind and enjoy being outdoors. Breakfast was another highlight, generous and varied, with delicious quality products and thoughtful touches each morning. We stayed for a few days with our six-year-old daughter, and the experience exceeded what we'd hoped for. It's a rare place with such welcoming hosts and well-kept facilities. The fresh breakfast basket was prepared that same day, and our host was very attentive. My partner and I had a wonderful weekend there, though the Mistral meant we couldn't use the pool.

The breakfasts deserve a special mention: homemade, delicious, and served in baskets that we could enjoy in several designated spots, which felt more private. We had a wonderful stay with our little boy and would gladly recommend the accommodation. The hosts gave us such a warm welcome, and their lovely home is well maintained and quickly felt like home. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor space, with the quiet and cicadas all around us throughout the stay. Thank you so much!
