10/10
My balcony looked out onto La Savane park, and the location gets an 11/10 from me. The hotel was super clean, and the room had everything I needed: air conditioning, a mini fridge, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Some older reviews had me unsure about staying, but I had a great time and I'm glad I came. I'll definitely be back.

The port and lots of shopping are within walking distance, and nightlife seemed very popular. Still, the stay itself was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a woman traveling alone, and I won't return. I called my travel agent about the bad experience as soon as I got back.

We booked the superior king room and found at least 20 mosquitoes in it. The front desk was helpful: they gave us bug spray and said to turn the AC up high, which got rid of them. Even so, it made us want to book another room.

6/10
The port and nearby restaurants were within walking distance, and the place itself was great. What felt strange was the rule against hotel visitors, even when your own family wants to come see you. For what the hotel offers, I also found it expensive.

8/10
We stayed a full week, largely because the price was reasonable. It's a simple, straightforward place with friendly service and a location that's hard to beat. The Wi-Fi was poor, but it kept nearly all its promises.
