We had to call the owner about an hour before arrival, only to find he wasn’t there. We waited by the gate with the car, then called again and waited another ten minutes for him to show up. The studio itself was small but okay for a night, though the bed was painfully hard and we slept terribly. It was right beside a main road, so noisy too. There was no Wi-Fi, despite the Booking page listing it. The owner said it was only available in the rooms, but that distinction wasn’t made on the site. We also couldn’t tell whether breakfast was available. We were told it was for room guests, not studio guests, but when we asked, breakfast was possible, and we arranged to meet before 9:00. When we got there, guests were still sitting in a small room with one big table. The owner asked us to wait five minutes, seemingly to get them to leave. The whole thing felt amateurish. It’s about a 1.8 km walk to Fort-Mahon Plage. We’d booked the studio because it was the only option left and we had our dog with us.

The shared room is a nice place to meet people, and breakfast was generous. My two children and I had a lovely stay. Frédéric welcomed us warmly, was attentive and easy to talk to, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We highly recommend this place. Thanks for everything 😊

We could leave our vehicles safely in the private parking, which was a big plus. The welcome was very pleasant, and the rooms were spacious and clean. It’s quiet, in a great location close to the beach. Breakfast with the owner was generous and convivial.

The courtyard was spacious, so we could park our trailer there during our outings. Our room was large and comfortable, and the tall trees and birdsong made the setting lovely. Breakfast was French style, with bread and jam; there’s a fridge where you can get something in advance if you want something different. The room we booked was upstairs, and we hadn’t realized how steep the stairs were. They were a bit difficult for our elderly dog, so next time, if we stay longer, we’ll choose a ground-floor room. The host went through everything in detail with my husband, and was very kind and helpful when we had to rush off because our dog was unwell. Thank you.

We had some lovely conversations around the breakfast table, and breakfast itself was excellent and very generous. The owner is friendly and attentive, with great tips for restaurants and local attractions. It’s a quiet, lovely place with parking on site, close to town and great value for money. We highly recommend it.
