Camping Les Acacias

It was great that the campsite stayed open through all of October. The pitches were sandy and a good size, and the toilet block was modern and kept clean. It was very quiet, though the nearby road was noisy, and most vehicles looked stored rather than occupied. The mosquitoes were a problem. For that time of year, I thought it was a bit expensive when the pool was the only facility open. It looked nice but was small, and I didn’t use it. The harbour and beach are about a two-mile walk or drive away. Once you get there, it’s a great location.

In our opinion, it’s a great campsite. The mobile home was very clean, and it was nice and quiet. The lady running reception was really helpful. You do need a car to get around. We’ll definitely come back.

The camping area is fairly small and quiet, apart from the occasional rescue helicopter landing at the nearby hospital. The restaurant is a charming spot. I’d recommend the Mama salad and all the pizzas. Staff were kind and helpful, and the pools and rest of the site were very clean. With a car, the location makes it easy to reach the beaches quickly. The mobile homes are standard, and work well for accommodating more kids. There’s no free Wi-Fi around the campsite, only in the small office. In 2022, that was an absolute no-go for me. It cost 4 Euro for 24 hours or 19 for a week. Hopefully that changes soon.

We visited from the UK as a family and had a fantastic holiday. The site and surrounding area were well maintained and run, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and functional. The air-con was fantastic. Pools, sauna and poolside were all very clean, and the staff were as friendly and helpful as could be. We had no problems during our stay. For a campsite, the location near Frejus centre is unbelievable. It’s only a three-minute drive away, with lots of supermarkets and shops nearby. We’ve stayed in Frejus many times, and this is the best placed campsite or mobile home site I’ve come across. It’s quiet and family friendly, and I’d recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxing break. Bring mosquito spray, though. That’s nothing the camp can prevent.
