La Plage d'Argens

The pool wasn’t luxurious and didn’t have lots of slides, but it had just what we needed to have fun and relax. I loved the artificial grass around it, and felt safer with my kids running there. The whirlpool was the best, and it was great that it was heated when we visited in May. The restaurant, bar, and snack bar were good, too, and the young staff worked hard to serve everyone. We totally loved our three days. The mobile home was very clean and good value for money. I’d definitely recommend it, but where your mobile home is matters, since some are quite far from the activity center. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The campsite was clean, and our caravan was clean when we arrived. There’s a Lidl nearby for groceries, and a barbecue available to use. The shop was handy for snacks and last-minute bits. The beach at Cannes is about a 45-minute drive and well worth a day out. There was plenty of entertainment for adults and kids, and the children loved the pool and water slide. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The reception team were helpful, and the other staff were pleasant. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend it. The only thing we didn’t like was that the car was parked a bit far from the accommodation, which was annoying with kids and luggage, though it didn’t spoil our stay. And if mosquitoes tend to bite you, be prepared.

We stayed for four days, leaving the campervan on site and using local trains to visit Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, and St.Tropez. The station was five minutes away by taxi. The facilities were spotless, and there were cycle routes to the local beaches. It wasn’t cheap, but we had a large plot and electricity. There’s a bar and campsite restaurant on site. It also seems good for children, with plenty of facilities, including baby bathing facilities, which I hadn’t seen before.

The walk to the beach was lovely, but it wasn’t mentioned on the website. That distance could be hard for anyone with limited mobility, and in the heat it was too much for our young children. The campsite itself was pleasant enough, though our accommodation wasn’t very clean and the air conditioning barely worked. We reported a leak from it to reception, but nobody came to fix it. The activities team seemed to put in a lot of effort, yet the children found it hard to join in without speaking French, and the team didn’t seem to make much effort to include them. There was also a lot of noise from the road and beach bar, with rave music going on into the early hours. That may not be the campsite’s fault, but it’s something to know before booking.
